One thing I’d really appreciate is the ability to separate the quality settings for online (draft mode) and offline rendering
During online rendering, the project is played back and recorded in real-time — in this case, it might be necessary to use lower-CPU, lower-quality settings (e.g. oversampling turned off, draft mode enabled).
In contrast, offline rendering could take full advantage of the DAW's processing power and time to deliver the best possible quality (e.g. oversampling enabled, high-quality FX modes).
That way, we could finally use all kinds of Grids much more freely, I guess we’d need to clearly understand how essential 4x oversampling really is beyond audio-rate modulation — I’m not exactly sure about that
