If I get you right, you want to transpose Hanon to harmonic minor? You just transpose one single note G up a semitone to G# and you have an A harmonic minor scale in all the first 20 five-finger-exercises. Because they are all in C major -> it's the same note collection as A minor -> harmonic minor is the same as a natural minor but with a raised seven (called an leading tone) - move all G's a semitone higher to to G# -> done.How long would it take to transpose one exercise? Aren't there 60 exercises. I'm thinking it could take maybe 10-15 minutes, times 60, it's not a matter of energy it's a matter of efficiency and using my energy to actually practice instead of preparing to practice.
