Roger Linn Design • crossing the split

If I enable a split on my Linnstrument, and then slide my finger from one side of it to the other, at the moment of transition, the note that I've pressed is ended and an equivalent note is triggered in the other zone, with its pitch bend offset to reflect the new point of origin.

This is a well thought-out feature, and an elegant bit of coding. Is there any way to disable it?

What I'd like to set up instead is for the original note to continue on its original channel until released, with no hand-off at the split point. Pitch bend would then continue as normal, as though no boundary was crossed. This needn't be reflected in the LEDs, either. (I'm fairly sure that what I'm asking is for the processor to do less work, rather than more.)

I think what you have now is the right default behavior. I'm just a weird edge case.

Anyway, I'm not seeing anything in the midi implementation document to suggest that this is currently possible, but the wording isn't always consistent with my interpretation, so maybe there's an NRPN I haven't considered for this?

(This might be a "feature request" or it might be an "idiot check". Not sure which.)
