It looks like this update isn't satisfactory for some. I get it, I just want to point out just how young Bitwig is and when you look at it like this:

Digital Performer (Performer) 1984 Latest v11,
Cubase 1989 Latest V14,
Protools (soundTools) 1989 Latest v24.10,
Logic (notator) 1993 Latest v11,
FlStudio (fruity Loops) 1997 Latest v24,
Alberton 2000 Latest v12,
Reason 2000 Latest v13,
Reaper 2006 Latest v7,
Studio One 2009 Latest v7.
And then the youngest of these all is Bitwig 2014 Latest version 5... These guys are on track and given time........

Granted there are many basic features missing from BW which you'll find in pretty much most the other DAWS but, i honestly believe BW has the brightest future here. Putting aside my personal preferences i can see their vision!
Sure, but I went for Bitwig mostly for experimentation, sound design and creativity, what it is better at. And I want that Bitwig keeps focus on that and general workflow improvments. A thing like stepwise is a tool for begginers or boring / generic tech house producers. That's not the philosophy of Biwtig IMO. Well, I hope stepwise+ is coming very soon...
