i find the devices are verry fine. I´m a only Bitwig in the "Box" user (no externel Plugins). Over 2 Years on a Surface 7 Tablet. And it feels more a instrument than a PC DAW.fact is last updates was minor and on ther long run bitwig has no chance in my opinion

I can´t speculate, there have there own ideas and target. But i hope there grab old ideas (Touch intigration), Update Poly Grid to build devies with a full Gui ... or +Version of the old instruments like a sampler with sample mageling (e.g like old Ensoniq´s Sampler Loop modes). What can still come
but I agree... whether I would have needed one or the other. But everyone is different and, given the many different needs, it is not easy to satisfy everyone's expectations. I'm excited to see what happens next
