I like using multiple DAWs. Sometimes one's more fun for sound design, or mixing, or recording. Dawproject convinced me to try S1 again, but I couldn't get on with the navigation workflow. Which is a shame cause it has some awesome features.
S1's project system is genius. It has Project files that represent an album (or ep or something) that link to every song in that project. The Project file can automatically update renders for each song. You can sequence them in a timeline and master them all at once.
I'd love if Bitwig lifted that wholesale from S1. That, the arranger track, scratch pads, the pattern editor, and the lyrics track. S1 has a lot of great stuff if I could edit how scrolling, zooming, etc. works.
