So I was asking questions about this over and over, and I sent the dev en email asking the same questions. My main question was CAN IT MAP EXISTING SAMPLE LIBRARIES, and the first answer (from people claiming to own Triaz) was "yes, but you might need to make symlinks to add whole folders, or wait for a patch." So I made symlinks and tried everything I could in Triaz DEMO mode, but no user samples would import, symlinks didnt work.
So I waited a couple weeks, saw another discount code for Triaz (on top of the 40% off), so I decided to just try it and wait for patches.
Now that I have the full version with the full core library (I removed the demo version, installed full, registered), I still cannot add ANY user samples to Triaz. I can move folders or individual samples into the "User Samples" folder, and they never show up no matter ho many times I hit "refresh" or close/open Triaz or the DAW.
Triaz doesnt seem to work for anything but internal samples, although you can drag/drop single samples into single channels on Triaz and make them play temporarily. You cannot save that into a preset or retrieve it after closing, so my ability to add my own content to Triaz is basically non functional.
The MAIN reason I wanted this was to have it load large pieces of (or all) of my existing drum sample libraries. The dev never replied, but I was told by 2-3 other people who claimed to own this that "it was easy to add user folders and samples, but if you wanted to add 3rd party locations (not inside Triaz root folders) you would need symlinks."
None of that is true, and Im concerned about why people were saying that it would do this in this thread. If this can't add any user samples, Ill be requesting a refund. Perhaps Wave Alchemy will see my messages this time?
