I think the guy doesn't understand that his upgrade payment barely pay for a few hours of a developer. All you've done is sold your license to someone else - that person may be really interested in these new content packs, and may want a rolling update plan too.i understand your point and of course Bitwig can do thatMost the DAW companies offer these paid for content packs, why should BW be different?
but i dont think they will make make more money out of that
because i sold my license, and a few, too
In other words, Bitwig might now bring in more revenue because you've sold your license. It's your prerogative as a customer to have that opinion - and it's fine.i bought 3 or 4 Upgrade Plans just to support them
and i will not give more support, its enough
You could, of course, have never paid another penny to Bitwig, while continuing to use BWS on its current version, indefinitely.
Do you not have an archive of projects, made in Bitwig, that you'll now not be able to open any more?
If I didn't want to pay for Bitwig any more, I'd not sell it for that single reason. It would be more expensive (in time and convenience) for me to go through 1000+ BW projects, rendering them out and dumping into another DAW as audio, than it would be to buy 20 years of update plans.BWS doesn't cost as much as a car to buy, either. What is this statement meant to illustrate?its a digital Product you just need an office
its not a car factory The costs are much lower
the argument doesn't work here
Office cost is negligible here.
