It’s not your hearing. The Grid doesn’t sound that great, and it definitely doesn’t do audio rate modulation well. That said, Hyperion doesn’t do it at all, at least not in the sense that you’d expect from a modular. I did pick up Hyperion when it was on sale for a really cheap price and I haven’t really dug into it that deeply It’s on my to-do list.I am surprised no one mentioned Hyperion.
As much as I am in love with Bitwig Grid- I think it is by far the best, most user-friendly, eye-candy, etc.
It just does not sound lush to me. I wish it did but it does not. Perhaps there's something wrong with my hearing?
On the other hand Hyperion is just a beast! And it sounds great and lush! And Hyperion is constantly developed by Paul.
Yet, what I completely do not get it, it is nearly non-existent on this forum. Anyone knows why?
