Alien Covenant. You probably should watch the Alien movies to have a clue to what's going on here. Good, solid scary movie with great fx.
Image of the Beast (1981) - Christian Rapture movie. The Leftovers was probably conjured by this. The Left Behind series is a total rip-off. Cheap and bad actors, bad script. The end of the world and one character tells another: Try not to think about it. Then, a character that's going to be executed the next day is told to get some sleep. You'll feel better tomorrow. At least the Post Office and Fire Dept. still work during the apocalypse. These are a series of 3 movies that were primarily shown in churches and traumatized children back in the day. I have to watch the other ones now because this one was SO hilariously awful.
