You can use audacity to record your daw as it is live instead of how it records. I have done that with cakewalk exc... You don't have to have a different computer to do that.One thing I notice with having multiple delay effects is how good everything sounds in those few seconds after you stop a looped recording where everything burbles and trails away. Using a second PC to record that would be overkill I guess.I'm hoping to buy a second computer or a portable DAW to use mostly for recording while I use a different one as a synth. Or maybe a sequencer would be nice to trigger one computer as a synth and record into the other one. Old school techniques feel good to me with a modern spin.
